Parts of New Jersey are known for their intense academic curriculum that challenges the students and prepares them for college. There are always the schools that meet the requirements, but don’t really go above and beyond what is expected. Those students who are attending these schools, might feel like there might be a better alternative that they would perform better at, that is when online high schooling comes to mind.

New Jersey high schools are known for being pretty tough and preparing students for their college careers. The Academies in New Jersey are also tough, but the public high schools certainly have a lot to offer.

Your freshman year is the best time to know your professors and develop a great student-professor relationship. E-mail them with questions and things you enjoyed in their classes. You are not brown-nosing them, you are just letting them know you have been paying attention and truly care about your education.

Those who lived on campus had a better connection to the school and I wanted that so badly. If you are feeling this way or are afraid of feeling this way when you start school, know you are not alone. The best way to overcome this is to spend more time on campus and get involved in campus activities. Go to the shows and special events, join the clubs and just walk around campus with a friend.
