Engineering is a growing industry in New Jersey. Many engineers, especially electrical engineers, are being asked to transfer in order to handle the workload of new buildings and the upgrade to digital technology for the older buildings. Some of the engineers being asked to transfer are fresh out of college in hopes they will take the PE exam and then the EIT exam, which is equivalent to a doctorate’s degree in that field.
