3 Tips for NJ Dorm Students

Students choose to dorm mainly because the school is too far away from home to commute; however the added bonus of freedom is also temping. The only scary thing is that the students who have always had the comforting sound of their parents in the background no longer have that. They have to make their own judgments and suffer the consequences.

Those who lived on campus had a better connection to the school and I wanted that so badly. If you are feeling this way or are afraid of feeling this way when you start school, know you are not alone. The best way to overcome this is to spend more time on campus and get involved in campus activities. Go to the shows and special events, join the clubs and just walk around campus with a friend.
