What is Marine Biology? As human beings, we can only inhabit 29 percent of the world’s surface due to our inability to live on or under the water. Seventy one percent of the world’s surface is accounted for by the oceans. If this sounds staggering, consider that the oceans encompass nearly 300 times the habitable [...]

The Jersey Shore certainly gained a name for itself in recent years with the hit television series, Jersey Shore, bringing the boardwalks and nightlife of the area to a national stage. The show premiered on MTV in 2009 and showcased the cast members, all chosen to gear towards the ‘stereotypical’ Jersey Shore partiers, enjoying themselves in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

When you have been in New Jersey for a long time you have probably done all of the things you can think of, right? Well, try to think a little harder. As time goes on it becomes harder to find the fun things to do in any state, but New Jersey has so much history to offer it is hard to think anyone could run out of things to do. As a recent college student, I was always looking for fun things to do in the area that were cost effective, also known as cheap.

Living in New Jersey is a great benefit to the students graduating from any one of the colleges in or around the state. It may not be widely known, but New Jersey is very popular in business. Sure, New York is more well-known than New Jersey, but once you get to areas near the Hudson River, there are many job opportunities with businesses like UBS, which is a Swiss banking company.

New Jersey students have interests just like any other state, but there are some degrees that just tend to be more popular in the Garden State. Online degrees in New Jersey are certainly popular because of their convenience so many students in NJ choose online universities to take their courses.

The state of South Carolina has a lot to offer NJ students. Although it is rather far, it gives students a chance to live in a beautiful area far enough from home but not all the way across the country. Some of the colleges in South Carolina are University of South Carolina located in Columbia, Clemson University located in Clemson, and Medical University of South Carolina located in Charleston.

High school students are used to walking around in one big circle all the time to get to their classes without really ever having to think where they’re going. All the rooms are usually easy to figure out. Nobody ever gets lost in high school. Nobody. But college is an entirely different animal. Campuses are [...]

You’re used to everything around you being run the exact same way all the time and really see no reason to change what’s going on around you. But I have some bad news: the economy’s [...]
